Where's the Pointttttt?

Today it is raining- something that occurs very infrequently in Tuk. As we may have mentioned, the Arctic is a desert- mind you, a very cold one. Thus, rain events don't occur very often, so when they do, it is "exciting."

After being indoors for much of the day, Deon and I made a mutual decision to go for a walk out to the Point, where we could see that there was some major storm wave action. I bundled up in my raincoat and wind pants and rubber boots, while Deon may as well have worn his bathing suit.

Little tiny me in the rain.

We got to the Point, and saw that much of it was under water, and waves were crashing up against the breakwall.

Much of the Point is under water.

Deon of course could not resist walking in the water, just to check out its characteristics. Soon, his boots were filled with water... his pants were next... and then, hey! Might as well go stand next to the waves to get a good look!

Hahahaha.
