Spring is where?

These pictures are from two weeks ago, the day before we were supposed to have our kitchen renovations. Of course it decided to "blow" as they say here, meaning high winds which caused huge drifts in town, and out on the ice road. Needless to say, our kitchen didn't get finished the next morning.

These are pictures of our apartment doorway, and the porch outside the apartment. As you can see, there's about 2.5 feet of snow out there. Those are normal sized railings on our porch, and the snow is almost to the top- and that was only about 12 hours of accumulation. Unfortunatly, it wasn't enough to keep us from going to work.

The pictures below were taken on our way to work in the morning, around 8:30am.
