A little bit of gourmet in the far north...

A while ago, Reagen sent me a care package in the mail to thank me for taking care of her mail after she left. In the package was mix to make some Sprinkles cupcakes which are claimed to be "the progenitor of the haute couture cupcake craze."

Needless to say, I was excited to be able to make my own "haute couture" cupcakes at some point, and it was decided that last night was the night. So, with a few extra ingredients, and this mix, here are my red velvet cupcakes (and boy was that cake mix ever red!!), with cream cheese frosting and the trademark dot on the top. I shared most of them with my friends, since they are very rich. But fun, nonetheless!
