These rubber boots are a staple in Tuk, especially in the spring season when the snow starts to melt and mud is everywhere. Of course, you wouldn't wear these boots to the city (Inuvik). I wore them to Inuvik recently, and felt like a country bumpkin. How's that for perspective!
